WELCOME TO DEVON FIRE AWARENESS TRAINING…
Fire Safety Training is vital for any employee/employer who could face a fire in the workplace.
Given a fire can break out anywhere at any time, this will cover all workers, but many businesses task certain employees with being ‘fire marshals’ or officials to deal with an outbreak. All businesses are required by law to have fire equipment and fire safety procedures but without proper fire safety training, this equipment cannot be employed to good use. Our fire safety training programmes help people to react in the right way when they hear a fire alarm. Not only will they know the action to take, they will be also trained in handling relevant fire equipment.
The responsible person must ensure that his employees are provided with adequate safety training— Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Versatile, experienced and professional – our instructors have been trained to deliver the highest quality courses which are soley designated for your place of work or premises. UK Fire Legislation requires all employers to ensure that employees are provided with adequate fire safety training.
The first step to safety is a thorough Risk Assessment and the creation of procedures and policies. Our team of very experienced assessors will not only carry out your risk assessment, write procedures and policies but also work with you to ensure that the system put in place, will go on year after year protecting the occupants of your workplace.

FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT
Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005;
The responsible person must make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks to which relevant persons are exposed. For the purpose of identifying the general fire precautions, they need to comply with the requirements and prohibitions imposed on them by or under this order.
The responsible person should reduce the chances of a fire starting and think about what to do if a fire does start. If you employ five or more people or hold a licence for the premises then you must record the ‘significant findings’.
